Email Marketing: Your Secret Weapon for MLM Success!

Did you know that e-mail marketing is one of the most powerful tools at your disposal when it comes to profiting from any MLM program? Its easier to get started than you think, and will allow you to place the majority of your sales and network-building efforts on autopilot.

If you want someone else to do the dirty work, you can sign up with a third-party autoresponder service. These companies host autoresponder software on their own servers. Some companies offer free services, but most will charge you a monthly subscription fee for an account.

Second step: Create an “autoresponder series” for promoting your MLM. This is just a series of brief e-mails describing the products and the opportunity, with a focus on 'soft-selling' the prospect.



Create messages that are educational, informational and of high-quality. Each message should build on the other and move the prospect a little closer to taking the desired action. There's no limit on how many messages can go in a series.

You'll load these messages into your autoresponder., and schedule them to go out as you see fit. You can send one message per day, or put several days wait between each message. Its all up to you.

Finally, go into your autoresponder and have it generate the code for your opt-in form. You'll cut and paste this code into your web page, and it will create a 'subscription box' where visitors can submit their names and e-mail addresses to sign up for your list.

Make sure you give them plenty of incentive to opt-in. You'll usually want to create a dedicated web page, called a “landing page”, designed to do just one thing: get your visitors to join your list!

Once you have everything automated in this way, you can spend more of your time focused on driving traffic to your lead capture system and building your list.

After that? Just sit back, relax and watch as e-mail marketing works its magic. You'll never promote any other multi-level program without it!

How To Build Your Downline Fast In Any MLM Program!

Massive success in any MLM program requires that you build a large 'downline' of motivated representatives. While you should always work steadily and consistently to recruit new people into your network, you also need to know how to build your downline fast.

This is especially true when you are just starting out. The number one reason most people fail to profit from legitimate network marketing opportunities is that they don't know how to build their downline quickly enough. Your downline holds the key to your profits.

So, what is the quickest way to build your downline?

The fastest, most effective approach is to use the Internet to generate leads! In other words, you can combine on-line, direct-marketing tactics with any MLM program. All you need is a web site and a good e-mail lead capture program.

It sounds almost too easy, right? Let's take a look at the basic concept, then the steps involved, and you'll see why this works.

The Basic Concept: On-line Recruitment is Easier

In the 'old' days of multi-level-marketing, you had to do a lot of footwork off-line. Selling products and recruiting new representatives required hunting down 'leads' wherever and however you could. Often, this meant trying to recruit friends or family, going door-to-door, hosting seminars, etc...

Doing it that way is a lot of hard work!

The Internet, however, completely revolutionizes the process of finding people who will be interested in your products, and in the business opportunity itself. This is because the Internet allows you to target the people who are already searching for a good multi-level program to join.

Also, because you'll be following up with leads via e-mail, you get plenty of opportunity to persuade and convert them into active members of your team. You'll even be able to educate them and keep them motivated so that they'll build their downlines fast, too!

So, what are the steps in promoting an MLM the 'direct-marketing' way?

1. Get your own website address, and set up a 'lead capture page'.

2. Send targeted traffic to that page.

3. Follow up with collected leads via autoresponder.

4. Track your 'conversions'.

You can create a separate e-mail list dedicated solely to members of your downline, and ask them to opt-in to it. Use this special downline-only list to teach your recruits how to set up their own lead capture pages.

The above four steps are at the heart of the method for building your downline as fast as possible.

Obviously, you'll need to acquire certain skills – like building web pages, learning how to use an autoresponder, etc.. -- if you don't already have them. This is more than can be covered here, but you can find plenty of help on-line for free. Just go to your favorite search engine and do a search for “internet marketing forums”.

Make sure you get this whole process automated, and you can duplicate it for any MLM program you're involved in!

Network Marketing - Are You Failing Miserably? Here's Why...

All to often in network marketing, you will find people who insist on chasing down prospects to get them in their business. Most often, the people that are being chased are not serious about having their own business because they just want a job, while others just don't care about what you have to offer. The biggest mistake people make is spending their hard earned money chasing "curious" people instead of finding a way to get people to come to them first.

Increase your value to the marketplace

Jim Rohn says that you are payed in direct proportion to the value you bring. This means that you have to continuously learn new things to make yourself better. You should make it a habit to invest in your education in network marketing first. Don't buy leads, don't put together a list of your 200 closest friends, don't print up another flier until you educate yourself in how to really work a network marketing business. You might ask, "What do I need to learn to do network marketing right?" Well first, lets realize that we need to put the marketing into network marketing. What I mean is, you need to learn how to market your network marketing business appropriately. Next, you must learn how to deal with people because network marketing is a "sales" business, contrary to what the gurus tell you.




Target the right audience

Would you try to sell a vegetarian a steak? I wouldn't. That won't work! Network marketers all across the world need to realize something right now, 95% are suffering in their businesses because they believe everyone is a prospect. This is simply not true. Everybody isn't cut out for having their own business whether it's network marketing or any other business model on the planet. How do you target the right people? You have to sell yourself and target those who are already convinced that network marketing is right for them.

Write this down...

Your target market is Network Marketers.

The way the heavy hitters build their businesses is by retailing a low cost training product that teaches people how to build a business. After people have purchased their training, they become a lead in their marketing pipeline. On the back-end is where they will offer customers their network marketing opportunity. Position yourself as an expert

You have to sell people who are struggling in network marketing on "You". You must become a trainer and learn how to market yourself through free or low cost methods that will help people find you. People go online to search for information. Once you have given them answers to their most pressing issues, they will view you as an expert and they will ultimately be attracted to you. The Bible says that "It is better to give than to receive". In attraction marketing, you must give quality information to position yourself as an expert because people like to do business with someone who is knowledgable.

Network Marketing - Who's Your Network Marketing Coach?

Today in network marketing, we hear a lot about "coaching". While people are talking about coaching so much, do you ever ask yourself if network marketers really know what coaching is?

A coach is basically an expert trainer. In order to be an effective coach, you must have experience in what you are coaching. Today we have a whole bunch of people running around calling themselves coaches and experts (which is easy to claim on the internet), but the reality is that they themselves have no success experience in what they are teaching.

What is dangerous about this is, when you are not experienced in something, and try to act like you know what you're talking about, you'll end up giving people wrong information.

I believe one reason why people fail in network marketing is because they end up with inexperieced leaders who can't even coach themselves to success in their own network marketing business. Can the blind lead the blind? No, I don't think so!

If you are being coached by someone who can't back up their results, and you feel you're hitting a brick wall in your own business because you were'nt taught anything useful, you need to find somebody who can help you. Can they prove their success? Find out if they have a proven system that can be easy enough for you to follow.

Many people jump into network marketing without taking a closer look at who their business partner will be. Make sure you find somebody to coach you who are successful themselves, then l the team by talking to them to find out if the techniques being taught are useful and that the others are having success.

If you feel that something is not right, and you don't feel comfortable, it's okay to start all over again. Be sure that when you start over, you do the proper research on "who" you're dealing with.

Network Marketing - The Truth About Companies That Will Build A Downline For You

Sound Familiar? There are network marketing companies all over the web promising to build a downline for you while you sit back and do nothing. Most of these programs are free to get started. To make any money you will have to pay for products and cold call people on the list below you and sell them on buying into the business.

The benefit to you is that the company will build a downline for you by signing people up as free members. Daily emails are sent to free members informing them on who joined for free and who upgraded.

The company then tries to convince you to join by invoking a fear of loss, reminding you to upgrade now so you won't lose your position. The theory is that if the "marketing system" causes the fear of loss in the prospect, they upgrade, you get a commission and that's how the system will build a downline for you.

These "build a downline for you" systems tend to draw people in because they believe they won't have to cold call. The truth of the matter is that no matter if the system claims to build a downline for you, there are still actions that you should take instead of letting a system build a downline for you.

Ask yourself, why would they need me if I didn't have to do anything? Many of these companies will claim that there is no selling or no cold calling, but once you're in, they *WILL* train you on calling prospects.

Now that's what I call bait and switch!

In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with companies that will build a downline for you, all it does is give you free leads to call and that's every network marketers dream, isn't it? Having a marketing system that sends call-to-action e-mails everyday, coupled with a personal call from you, is one of the quickest ways in my opinion, to build a downline for you!

Bottom line is that most people who give in to these "build a downline for you" companies are being lazy and they don't want to interact with people. No matter what network marketing company you join, in order to make money, you will have to learn how to deal with people.

That's why we call our industry network marketing. Before you join any company that can build a downline for you or otherwise, get the training you need first to become a leader before spending money on building a business.

How To Create Your Own PDF E-Book

When I first started in Internet Marketing, the first thing I was taught , was to create a 'Freebie' e-book and use that e-book as a way to convince people to sign up for my list, by giving them valuable information that they were already looking for, for free. As you can imagine with the Internet, finding a way to put an e-book together in technical terms, is not easily explained. I searched far and wide as a beginner to find out how to put an e-book together, and what I found, I will share with the newbies out there that are having the same problems that I did.


Before I show you how to convert your files to PDF, there is one issue you might encounter, and that is hiding your affiliate links in your e-book. What I will show you now, is how to create a link that your readers can click on, using the actual name of the product or service instead of putting an ugly affiliate link in your e-book. In your word processor, there is an icon. It is a picture of the world with a link on the bottom. Click on it, and you will be able to hide your affiliate link behind the wording of your choice, or, you can just right click your mouse and choose the hyperlink option.

There are two ways that you can use to create a PDF e-book:



The FREE way. (Of course, this is the option I chose!)




The paid way. (These are all low cost options. $9-$45)


The free way goes like this: You can go to www.pdfonline.com and convert your documents to PDF files right there online. You can also download a free word processor software, sort of like Microsoft Office. If you download this software, you can create your book then convert it to PDF on your desktop. After you've finished creating your book, click the PDF icon at the top of the screen. It's FREE to do and you can use it for as long as you have the software. This FREE software can be found at www.openoffice.org.

The paid way goes like this: You can go to createpdf.adobe.com and for about $9 per month you can create an unlimited amount of PDF files online. There are a number of software programs that you can buy to convert files to PDF on your desktop and even convert PDF files to word documents. You can find these software programs by typing in "PDF converter software" into your favorite seach engine.

The first thing I noticed when I opened up the
first video was the stunning production quality.
He used Camtasia Studio for the production, which
is now the industry standard for creating
high-quality screen capture video products. The
audio is near studio quality, and the graphics
are very professional. These videos were made by
someone who KNOWS what he's doing. Well done!

I also liked how Michael divided the videos up by
section, and then again by sub-section. For
example, one video is all about the subject line,
and then there are different parts of that video
that each cover a certain area of crafting a
killer subject line.

VIDEO 1 - INTRODUCTION

This video served as an introduction to the whole
course. You get to see a picture of Michael in
his every day life, and he establishes his
credibility right up front by talking about some
of his massive successes online. He even provides
proof of credibility by displaying two checks in
the amount of $50,000 and $25,000 which prove
that, when it comes to the subject of making
money with email promos, he knows his stuff.

This is a good lesson for anyone to get. Whenever
you're teaching people how to do something, it's
good to establish your credibility up front, so
that there's no doubt about whether or not you're
qualified to talk about the subject. Most product
developers either skip or minimize this step.

VIDEO 2 - BEFORE YOU WRITE THE PROMO

This video talks about some things that no other
marketer has bothered to mention. You'll learn
things like:

* The mindset you need in order to write a killer
promo

* The different tools you need before you get
started

* How to keep your emails laser-focused

* How to create an outline that practically
writes the email for you.

This was a fantastic video, and did a good job of
kicking things off.

VIDEO 3 - THE SUBJECT LINE

I liked this video, because it talked about one
of MY biggest weaknesses when it comes to writing
email promos... the subject line. The subject
line is a confusing topic, because nobody's 100%
sure what the best tactics are.

Michael breaks it down, and reveals:

* The biggest secret for writing a subject line
that makes people insanely curious.

* Techniques for personalizing the subject line.

* Mistakes to avoid when using personalization.

I was surprised to find that I was making some of
the mistakes that Michael mentioned in this
video, but now I know better.

VIDEO 4 - THE OPENING

This is where a lot of people slack off when
writing their emails. Michael talks about how
important it is to create an opening that is
conversational, and then reveals techniques and
examples on how to do that.

He also reveals:

* How to get people to keep reading your email
once they've opened it.

* How to make your opening interesting.

* Mistakes to avoid when creating your first few
paragraphs.

VIDEO 5 - THE BODY COPY

This is one of the "meatiest" portions of the
course, because it reveals techniques that are
not widely discussed on the forums, blogs, and in
most eBooks. He talks about the importance of
keeping your body copy tight and relevant, and
then reveals how you can do that. You'll also
learn:

* How to write powerful bullets that make people
curious and want to find out more.

* Simple formatting tricks for making your body
copy easy to read.

* The secret of "bucket brigade copy" and how to
use it in your email promos to force people to
keep reading.

VIDEO 6 - THE CALL TO ACTION

This is where a lot of people wimp out in their
email promos. They start out strong, but when it
comes time to ask the reader to click the link
and take action, they don't know what to say.
Michael talks about some of his favorite
techniques for making that happen, and also
reveals:

* The "magic question" to ask yourself that will
make your close much more powerful.

* The secret of the "unanswered question" and why
handling this is a surefire way to get people to
act right away.

* The structure of a powerful close.

* Mistakes people make when creating their close.

VIDEO 7 - CREATING AN EFFECTIVE P.S.

Some people say that the P.S. is one of the most
important parts of the email, because it is often
the one thing that gets people to click the link
at the end. In this video, Michael talks about:

your email.

* The 4 different kinds of P.S.'s you can use
(this section was a real eye-opener for me).

VIDEO 8 - COMMON MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE

I loved this video, because it showed me some
mistakes that I was making that I wasn't even
aware of. Unless you're a seasoned pro, you're
probably guilty of some of the things that
Michael talks about in this video as well, and
that's why it's so valuable. I've shaved years
off my learning curve, because now I can avoid
some of the costly mistakes that I was bound to
make in the learning process.

VIDEO 9 - HOW TO CREATE FOLLOW-UP EMAIL PROMOTIONS

This video alone is going to make me a lot of
money. Why? Because I used to only send out one
email promo for each affiliate promotion I was
doing. Michael showed me in this video how
important it is to send a follow-up promotion,
and he showed me exactly how to do it. He covered
things like:

* The psychology of follow-up email promo's.

* The 2 main types of follow-up promos that make
the most money.

* How to overcome readers' objections in your
follow up emails.

* The 2 most common mistakes people make when
writing follow-ups and how to avoid them.

VIDEO 10 - HOW TO WRITE BACK END EMAIL PROMOTIONS

Every marketing guru out there says that the REAL
money is on the back end. I'd have to agree with
them, but the problem is... most people have no
idea how to set up a back end system that makes
money. This video will teach you how to set up an
automated back end that's loaded with killer
promos that make you lots of cash on autopilot.
He reveals things like:

* The big difference between regular and back end
email promos.

* How to prepare a back end promotion sequence.

* Common mistakes people make when creating back
end email promos.

VIDEO 11 - CREATING AFFILIATE EMAIL PROMOTIONS

This could be the most important video of the
entire package for a lot of people, because most
people email their list to promote other people's
products as an affiliate. Let's face it, if you
only have 3 products, can you really afford to
only email your list 3 times a year? They'll get
bored hearing about the same old products over
and over again. This video sheds some light on
how to create killer affiliate promos. Michael
reveals things like:

* The two main types of affiliate promos.

* What makes affiliate promos different than
regular promos (and why ignoring this huge secret
could cost you big money).

* Michael's favorite tactics for creating
affiliate promos that no one else is doing.

* 3 different ways to add scarcity to your
affiliate promos (this is the most important
section of the video, so make sure you watch it
over and over again).

As you can see, Email Promos Exposed really packs
a lot of punch! Most of the courses out there
offer only watered down, weak content. Not this
one! These videos are going on my "A-list" for a
long time.

I've already watched them twice, and plan on
reviewing them every couple months to make sure
that I have the principals, techniques and
tactics burned into my mind.
